I had the pleasure of managing Ryan Drumheller during his time as IT Manager at NeoPollard, where he led a team of technicians while overseeing both our internal IT operations and client support. He balanced a demanding dual workload with professionalism and consistency, and he advocated equally well for his people and the business. I had the pleasure of working with Ryan for several years and can confidently say he is a very motivated, dedicated, and hardworking team member. While working with Ryan close to 2 years, he came in and helped implement a new cloud based call center solution called NICE InContact. That was leaps and bounds above what was being used prior. Ryan straightened out the IT department with no manager in place and went from interim to acting manager within 4 months. Ryan organized and improved infrastructure by finishing network IDFs, upgrading server physical hosts, and helped to improve relationships with the IT department across multiple business units.

Working as an Account Manager, there were often times topics would come up with my clients that needed a more in depth technical explanation than I could provide. I could always count on Ryan to partner with me in these situations to help answer any questions of our clients and help put them at ease. Ryan has the unique ability to understand very technical topics and translate them into business conversations as needed given the audience. Ryan also easily builds trust with clients and stakeholders through his expertise and integrity. It was a pleasure working with Ryan.

I had the pleasure of working with Ryan in the Service Management department of Jackson National. During that time, we worked together on a major migration project. He was an invaluable asset to the team. Ryan is a highly skilled and knowledgeable resource for internal IT policies and business processes. He is also a great communicator and team player. He is always willing to share his knowledge and expertise with others, and always willing to go the extra mile to help the team succeed. On the migration project, Ryan played a key role in developing and implementing the migration plan. He also worked closely with the business stakeholders to ensure that the migration process was smooth and seamless. His contributions were essential to its success. In addition to his technical skills, he is also a pleasure to work with.

Ryan has that energy that brings people together and working for this individual has been a blessing. Ryan really cares about his team, organization, and is always willing to go that extra mile to make sure everyone is happy and has all the resources to succeed. Out of all the great things this individual has going for him, one that stands out the most to me is his willingness to mentor you on how to be successful in your IT career. I personally wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for him taking a chance on me. He is one of those leaders that will get in the trenches with you when things are not going right and walk out of them with you when the situation has been resolved.

Ryan is very detail and goal oriented. He always has a strategic mind. I have never been managed by someone that is so down to earth and quite literally a people person. If you are looking for someone who thinks outside of the box and is very goal driven, look no further.

I have had the pleasure to work with Ryan on multiple projects as well as day to day IT activities. Ryan has a deep technical background as seen in his multiple engineer roles, and this has also been apparent in multiple occasions of working together making technical decisions as well as having to understand roadblocks and make the correct adjustments to move a project along. That ability to see the big picture while understanding the details gives Ryan a unique ability to create project plans and manage projects from inception to implementation. The other facet to my professional experience with Ryan is his ability to create fantastic working relationships with everyone around him. He works well across departments to ensure the best overall outcome for everyone, and in my time at NPI with Ryan I have seen him build and cultivate an IT team that is responsible for a wide variety of responsibilities. Throughout this he has effectively delegated responsibilities and put his employees in the best position for current and future success through mentorship and support. In summary I would highly recommend Ryan for any position he is pursuing.

During Ryan's and my shared tenure at NPI, I got to know so much about his way of going above and beyond for and with others, and also about his personal and professional characteristics that make him an excellent manager and person. Ryan possesses extraordinary analytical ability, technical knowledge, and good leadership and management skills with the ability to communicate with technical minded people and non technical colleagues in both written and verbal methods. As an IT Manager in NPI, Ryan was responsible for managing the entire portion of the IT department, which includes supervising employees, appointing new associates, preparing strategic resolutions to reduce security threats and increase data protection, delegating goals, developing and maintaining performance standards, and reporting back to all invested parties and stakeholders. Ryan has that rare mix of expert level technical knowledge while also being a highly effective manager of people and ensuring that their personal and professional growth are also a high priority.

Ryan has worked with me on several collaborative projects. He was always very knowledgeable, task oriented, and professional. He has been a great leader in teaching me IT related things when I was experiencing issues, rather than just fixing them. I have witnessed Ryan be a great leader to his team, build a rapport with coworkers, and be a great mentor. He is beyond passionate about IT, and strives to stay up to date on all IT things. I'd have no issues hiring or working with Ryan again, and he would make a fantastic addition to any company.
